The Schulich School of Business Executive Education Centre at York University, Toronto, Canada (SEEC) and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) announce a strategic partnership: SEEC will offer Executive Education programs for the DIFC Region
The Schulich School of Business Executive Education Centre at York University in Toronto, Canada (SEEC) today announced its partnership with the Dubai International Financial Centre to provide executive education programs in Dubai for the DIFC region which includes the Middle East, North and Eastern Africa, the Caspian and the Indian Sub-continent. The Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC) is very pleased to be part of the vision of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, VP and PM of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and the Dubai Government to create an environment for progress and economic development in the UAE and the wider region.
The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) was established to act as a catalyst to the region's economic development. The goal of the Dubai Education Centre is to become the Centre for Excellence in executive education for the finance industry by partnering with the best business schools world-wide. The Schulich School of Business is consistently ranked among the top business schools globally, number one in Canada and is a leader in the financial services sector. SEEC's executive and management development courses are delivered world-wide and it has a proven record of actively and successfully addressing the needs of its global clients. This alliance will have significant benefits for the Region's business community and SEEC is very pleased to collaborate with DIFC to build a talent pool of professionals for the region in a rapidly growing economy.
The official launch of the partnership will be on November 23, 2008 in Dubai at a reception jointly hosted by the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Schulich School of Business Executive Education Centre. Alan Middleton, Executive Director, SEEC, along with Schulich faculty and administrators will be present to answer questions about the partnership and course offerings. Three professional development courses will be offered in March 2009:
